How do we separate chance from the specific, detailed plans of God?
Chance or God’s Plan?
Don’t the laws of probability tumble our lives like dice?
But if God wants what’s best for us, how could anything be left to chance?
Wouldn’t His plans involve every little detail of our lives?
Wouldn’t everything be set in place by His design, worked through our freewill anticipated by His omniscience?
Honoring our freewill while working Ultimate Good through every choice we make?
Life isn’t really a disjointed, dysfunctional patchwork of chance.
It just sometimes feels that way.
There are reasons for everything since God is in charge, and they all come together harmoniously in a breathtaking symphony in which you and I have a part.
He shares the joy of His magnificent, unfolding musical score with you and I because he loves us!
How do we separate chance from the plans of God? We don’t. God leaves nothing to chance.
What a Good Father!
And we know that in all things
God works for the good of those
who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose.
From one man he made all the nations,
that they should inhabit the whole earth;
and he marked out their appointed times
in history and the boundaries of their lands.
God did this so that they would seek him
and perhaps reach out for him and find him,
though he is not far from any one of us.
