Thoughts can be rushed; but not thoughtfulness.
We have enough thoughts. The world is overrun by an ice-storm of thoughts that entangle themselves in every nook and cranny of our lives. Numbing our minds and freezing our hearts.
The solution is in the warmth of thoughtfulness. Of consideration. Exposure to the sunshine clarity of logic. Logic warmed and illuminated in all its colors by the prism of the heart that tests the moral truth, validity and rightness of that logic.
Who could deny the importance of the human heart? Who would deny the importance of the human heart?
Those who do deny the heart admire and worship machines with the very same heart they now consider irrelevant. To them AI temporarily dependent upon human slaves for their birth, maintenance and survival are our inevitable prodigy.
Because if we don’t have hearts we are machines.
Is love a throwback? A primitive tool that has lost its “survival value” and therefore its usefulness?
Can we or should we now do away with gratitude, joy and awe? Discard honor, integrity and Truth? Justice, mercy, trust & faith? Goodness?
Is the last legitimate use of the human heart worship at the cold-blooded reptilian altar of “survival value”?
Is thoughtfulness a thing of the past in light of evolution’s materialistic Brave New World?
Is the human heart irrelevant?
