We all ask that question.
“What is the reason for my existence?”
Because without a reason there can be no purpose.
And without a purpose there can be no meaning to life.
But why do we ask the question in the first place?
Why do we care?
Why do we long for there to be a reason for our existence to give our lives purpose and therefore meaning?
Because our hearts know there must be a meaning.
And logic demands it.
Because reason, purpose and meaning are self-evident truths.
So foundationally important that they are the self-evident truths on which those stated in the Declaration of Independence depend.
